Job Description:
Snowflake data modeller with architect exp
Erwin exp is needed as well
7+ years of experience in data modelling with at least 2+ years working with Snowflake
• Strong expertise in dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, third normal form (3NF), and denormalized structures
• Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models in Snowflake.
• Experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio
• Translate business requirements into efficient and optimized data structures and schemas.
• Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to align models with ETL/ELT pipelines and integration strategies.
• Define and manage data modelling standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation.
• Develop data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and data lineage artifacts.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance, storage, and maintainability in the Snowflake environment.
• Understanding of Azure cloud platforms
• Partner with BI/Analytics teams to support reporting and dashboarding needs.
• Participate in data governance and data quality efforts across the organization.
