Digital and Graphic Designer produces digital and print‑ready graphic designs used in Admissions recruiting and Enrollment Management, and fulfills design needs of on‑campus partners such as the Office of the President, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Office of Residential Life, Athletics, School of Theatre Arts, and School of Music. The position delivers effective, aesthetic, on‑brand and on‑strategy creative for digital outreach, including banner ads, social media graphics, email creative, brochures, print and digital advertising, and video graphics as needed by the University Videographer/Photographer. This is a full‑time, on‑campus role.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Associate Director of University Marketing Communications (UMC) and the Assistant Director of Enrollment Marketing to design and produce print and digital content for the Enrollment Management recruiting team.
Design all key printed materials and digital graphics for emails and the university website.
Create advertising used in digital banners, outdoor ads, and print media.
Collaborate with IWU campus partners to design all printed/digital athletic projects, including composite images, brochures, pocket schedules, and posters.
Design miscellaneous materials for the School of Theatre Arts and School of Music.
Design logos and graphics for campus clubs, organizations, and special events.
Design materials that inspire pride and share opportunities with current students, faculty, and staff.
Work closely with the Dean of Students on inclusion and advocacy materials.
Design campus pole banners and signage; track and maintain updated University accolades each year.
Create logos, flyers, and postcards for various grants.
Collaborate with the marketing team to update, complete projects on time, attend weekly meetings, and assist with other designers’ overflow tasks.
Share graphic resources for Slate integration.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education, experience, and accomplishment.
One year related work experience required; three years in higher education preferred.
Proven experience with the Adobe suite of print and digital design software.
Portfolio of digital and print design, and a history of collaborative team design approaches.
$22.72 per hour (approx. $44,000 annually).
The final candidate will pass a pre‑employment background investigation.
