Responsibilities
In this pivotal position, you will oversee high‑profile transmission projects from conception through detailed design, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will guide project teams, shape technical solutions, and build vital industry relationships—all while enjoying the chance to work on impactful, large‑scale infrastructure.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or related Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program (or equivalent technical background)

Minimum of 7 years of transmission engineering experience, with EPC project exposure preferred

Expertise in transmission design concepts, codes, and standards (NESC, NERC, FERC)

Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS‑CADD, RISA‑3D, MathCADD

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Exceptional communication skills—able to articulate complex technical information clearly

Project leadership experience, including delegation, scope management, and stakeholder communication

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 10% of the time

Nice to Have Skills

Master’s Degree in Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Experience in large EPC projects within the transmission sector

Familiarity with hydraulic, hydrologic, pavement, or transmission analysis programs

Proven success in developing client relationships and securing new business

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, coupled with at least 7 years of relevant experience

Demonstrated leadership in designing and managing extensive transmission projects

A proactive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to safety and quality standards

Other Requirements

Ability to perform detailed quality reviews of engineering drawings and specificationsCapable of engaging in field inspections, measurements, and problem resolution on‑site

Commitment to safety policies and industry best practices

Estimated Min Rate: $140,000.00

Estimated Max Rate: $200,000.00
