Account Executive, Sales and Partnership Services (Pac-12 Integrated Partnerships)
Playfly Sports is looking for an Account Executive, Sales & Partnership Services to join our team in San Ramon, CA. The Account Executive will work with the General Manager to pitch and close enterprise partnership agreements, generating incremental sponsorship revenue to meet and exceed individual and team goals. The role also involves managing day‑to‑day operations of conference sports properties and ensuring contract deliverables are met.

The Rundown
Work with the General Manager to pitch and close enterprise partnership agreements, generate incremental sponsorship revenue, and assist in managing the day‑to‑day operations of conference sports properties.

What You’ll Accomplish

Assist with the development and execution of sales plans to meet and/or exceed assigned annual revenue targets

Identify potential sponsors for the conference sports properties through networking with local business partners and researching local, regional and national companies

Prospect, meet and close new and renewal of high‑level corporate sponsorships

Develop compelling sales presentations for new marketing partners by incorporating research, category dynamics and a clear understanding of partner’s marketing goals

Create sales proposals and draft
egotiate contracts

Research the sports sponsorship industry and stay current with relevant market trends and conditions

Execute on contract fulfillment and deliverables, including gameday operations and on‑site activation

Manage all media/production components for the university’s sports radio network

Fulfill benefits per corporate partner agreements and develop relationships between partners and the conference

Work with the General Manager in creating, planning and implementing conference sports properties and Playfly sports properties special events

Obtain and manage all necessary proof of performance records

Manage administrative tasks related to day‑to‑day office operations

Represent conference sports properties and Playfly sports properties in a professional manner

Entertain and cultivate sponsors in non‑game day related events

Understand and leverage Playfly business units to explore new business areas, leads and categories

Provide dynamic integrated partnership packages with a focus on digital and mobile sales

Other job‑related duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree required

Three years of direct sales experience in the sports multi‑media environment or equivalent field preferably

Experience with integrated and “conceptual” sales

Ability to generate and present ideas/concepts succinctly and provide creative solutions to prospects/clients

Must possess organizational skills, specifically relating to managing contract fulfillment and proof of performance requirements

Ability to be a self‑starter

Outstanding communication skills are essential for interactions with clients, operational leaders and other senior executives

Ability to demonstrate professional sales presentation skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

Understanding of KORE sales program or similar systems preferred

Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to sit, stand, and walk up stairs

Be available to travel for client presentations, championships, and other association events

Be available for game days, evening athletic events and radio show/telecasts in correlation to the client fulfillment responsibilities of the sports property

Compensation
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications and specific work location.

The Base Pay Range For This Role Is

$75,000—$80,000 USD
