Location: NASA's White Sands Test Facility, Las Cruces, NM.

Responsibilities

Support project testing with high‑speed imagery and industrial videography, using 4K, GoPro, and other video cameras.

Have strong knowledge of camera equipment, including audio/visual cabling, lighting, and sound.

Process and edit high‑resolution imagery, providing video and still imagery after testing.

Design and create IT‑based multimedia products for various platforms that combine text with sounds, photos, graphics, video clips, virtual reality, and digital animation.

Research and understand project requirements, conceptualize plans, identify industry trends, and stay current with multimedia technologies.

Develop strategies to optimize operations.

Communicate with all levels of the team, provide effective reviews, recommend improvements, and prepare samples for customer approval.

Prepare and conduct briefings or presentations as required.

Troubleshoot equipment and resolve technical issues, documenting revisions to procedures.

Manage video archives.

Keep management informed of project status and concerns.

Receives general direction regarding objectives, priorities, and technical approach. Must be able to work independently and lead projects.

Qualifications

BA or BS degree in an appropriate discipline plus five (5) to ten (10) years of progressive and relevant experience. Additional education may substitute for experience.

Strong storytelling ability through visual means.

Proficient with multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Corel Draw and Painter is a plus.

Understand digital media standards, file formats, compression techniques, and optimization for different platforms and devices, ensuring multimedia is accessible to all users.

Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and sound.
