The Account Manager, Clinical Laboratory/Transfusion Medicine (CL/TM) is a front‑line, customer‑facing, quota‑carrying role responsible for driving sales and growth of QuidelOrtho’s CL and TM product lines across the Northern Utah, Southern Idaho, Northern Nevada, and Southeast Oregon territory. Candidates must reside within the territory and be within reasonable distance to a major airport.
Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth within the assigned territory or named accounts by managing and expanding existing CL/TM customer relationships.
Achieve instrument sales targets and grow assay and reagent utilization.
Proactively identify, develop, and close high‑probability competitive opportunities.
Maximize customer retention rates by ensuring satisfaction, executing customer touchpoint plans, and serving as the single point of contact for problem resolution.
Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to prioritize, retain, and expand current CL/TM accounts.
Collaborate with sales partners and cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and support product and menu expansion.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and pipeline updates via CRM.
Represent QuidelOrtho at trade shows and professional meetings.
Maintain weekly touchpoints and other customer engagement activities.
Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of capital equipment.
Experience in medical device, life science, or diagnostic market required.
Strong strategic marketing, consultative, and data analysis skills.
Ability to translate strategy into executable tactical action plans.
Strong business acumen, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Travel up to 70% domestic overnight as required.
Up‑to‑date immunizations or relevant credentialing per company policy.

Location & Travel

Field‑based position supporting Northern Utah, Southern Idaho, Northern Nevada, and Southeast Oregon. Candidates must live within the territory and within reasonable distance to a major airport. Travel up to 70% domestic overnight is expected.
Compensation and Benefits
