VDC Designer/Drafter
This is a full-time or part-time position working with our Project Manager to prepare complex and original designs that require a high degree of precision using Revit. The role involves developing and maintaining drafting standards and procedures, with opportunities for growth through active development, cultivation, and maintenance of project-associated relationships (PRM).

Responsibilities

Develop Revit system designs and documentation

Use design and modeling software to support requests during pursuit and award of plumbing & HVAC projects

Collaborate with estimators, project managers, engineers, BIM modelers, architects, and clients

Determine the proper elements and scale for construction sites

Gather and analyze data on costs, materials, and labor

Meet deadlines while modeling exceptional standard of quality

Support the Project Manager with additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

Proficient experience or knowledge in Autodesk Revit software

Bachelor’s degree or attendance in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields (preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills

Time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines

Ability to understand technical drawings and plans, and create verifiable reports and exhibits

Keen attention to detail

Follows dress and appearance standards; smoke-free and drug-free environment; no smoking or vaping
