Position Summary

Booking & Box Office Manager – Albuquerque Convention Center, Kiva Auditorium, and Civic Plaza. Reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Salary: exempt, FLSA.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and generate prospects, holds, proposals, contracts, and addendums for all ticketed events using Momentus Enterprise, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
Contact prospective promoters, agents, managers and individuals to initiate the sales effort and conduct facility tours.
Establish and maintain an expansive network of promoters, agents and manager representatives to identify and contract booking opportunities.
Negotiate venue deals, monitor and maintain the master facilities' calendars, and ensure contractual agreements are met and client requirements updated.
Input and maintain event holds into reports and submit in a timely fashion.
Provide booking expenses, venue specs, and availability as requested by clientele.
Communicate with internal departments (Event Services, Food & Beverage, Sales, Finance, Management) to conduct successful ticketed events, settlements and daily responsibilities.
Build ticketed events in Ticketmaster, coordinate with promoters and tour managers, and manage ticket pricing, seating configuration, and special offers.
Manage ticket pricing input on the Square system and update the ticketing company server.
Monitor daily ticket sales, communicate information to venue staff and promoter representative, and process complimentary ticket requests.
Hire, supervise, instruct and train ticket sellers, schedule box office staff, delegate duties, assist in attendance reporting and distribution of complimentary tickets and VIP materials.
Operate ticket printers, scanners and maintain box office supplies.
Manage settlement of all ticketed events, assist with Pre-Settlements, retrieve audit and platinum ticket reports, and consolidate final settlement packets with documentation of expenses.
File settlements for future reference and finalize settlements through communication with clients and internal departments.
Skills & Abilities

Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; Ticketmaster experience preferred.
Organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, work under pressure, produce accurate results.
Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational, and public relations skills.
Knowledge of accounting, financial procedures, record keeping and reconciliation.
Ability to analyze data and figures, coordinate and schedule staff, and handle money transactions accurately.
Strong customer service, independent judgment, initiative, flexibility.
Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree preferred; 3 years related experience required.
Experience in accounting and customer service essential. Box office experience in a similar environment strongly preferred.
Ticketmaster experience preferred.
Marketing, graphic design, and media buying experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications

Requires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays in addition to normal business hours.
