A creative organization is seeking a Graphic Designer and Video Editor to support a fast-paced Marketing and Communications team. This role is responsible for developing visually compelling content across digital and print channels, with a strong emphasis on storytelling through both static design and motion. This position partners across teams to bring campaigns to life, support audience engagement, and ensure a high standard of creative execution.


This role is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days a week in office expected.


Responsibilities

  • Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials across digital and print, including campaign assets, presentations, signage, and advertising
  • Create content for email, social media, and paid campaigns aligned with brand and campaign objectives
  • Develop visual assets that clearly communicate complex ideas, including infographics and presentation materials
  • Edit video content for social, web, and marketing use, including short-form and promotional content
  • Optimize video and design assets for platform-specific performance, including formatting, pacing, and layout
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to concept, produce, and deliver creative assets on time
  • Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support various initiatives
  • Manage production workflows and ensure timely delivery of creative assets
  • Support planning and execution of photo and video shoots, including asset preparation and coordination
  • Ensure all creative output maintains consistency, quality, and alignment with brand standards
  • Maintain organized libraries of design, video, and photography assets


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design and video editing
  • Strong portfolio required for consideration
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling visual storytelling across both static and motion formats
  • Experience producing content for digital platforms, including social media and email marketing
  • Understanding of platform-specific best practices across digital channels
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively across teams
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong attention to timing, pacing, composition, and visual rhythm in both design and video work
  • Experience with a performing arts organization would be a plus.
