Business Development Manager
Wongraven Wines is entering a new phase of international growth, with clear ambitions to strengthen our position both globally and in Norway.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a key role in shaping this next chapter.
This is a unique opportunity to go beyond managing an existing business—you will build, develop, and drive strategic initiatives that create real, measurable impact.
We are looking for someone who is both perceived—and proven—to be creative, highly self-driven, and skilled at identifying opportunities and unlocking potential. Working closely with shareholders and key decision-makers, you will be given significant autonomy and influence in a company that is actively evolving.
Key Responsibilities
Drive distribution growth – Identify and execute opportunities to strengthen distribution across Anora’s core markets, while developing existing partnerships to accelerate sales.
Expand into new markets – Unlock opportunities in strategically important regions such as the UK and Benelux, building relationships with partners aligned with our brand and quality positioning.
Develop high‑end partnerships – Strengthen Wongraven Wines’ position in the premium segment by building collaborations across industries such as automotive, watches, art, fashion, and luxury travel. You will help shape innovative concepts and exclusive brand experiences.
Strengthen and future‑prove the portfolio – Continuously assess and evolve the portfolio to ensure it remains competitive and relevant, balancing strong heritage with a forward‑looking, entrepreneurial mindset.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing or a related field is generally required. However, for candidates with extensive and relevant experience at an international level, this requirement may be waived.
Higher education in wine (e.g., WSET Diploma) or equivalent professional experience is generally required. This may be waived for candidates with extensive relevant experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Additional languages (Scandinavian languages, French, German, Italian) is an advantage.
Other Requirements
Travel – Willingness to travel internationally for business development.
Place of residence – Oslo.
Mobility – Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently.
Event readiness – Comfortable working in dynamic environments domestically and abroad.
Workload adaptability – We are a high‑capacity team working in an international environment.
