Video Content Strategist & Producer

Pain Free Dental Marketing · Colleyville, TX, USA · Remote ·

Job type:
Full Time

Overview
We aren't just making dental marketing content. We're helping real dental practices show patients who they are, what they believe, and why they can be trusted.

Pain-Free Dental Marketing is looking for a full‑time Video Content Strategist & Producer who can develop video strategy, write the questions and scripts that get real answers, and run the remote interviews that turn a doctor's story into useful marketing assets.

Who This Role Is For / Not For
If you only want to write from a brief someone else built, hand off a script, and let other people figure out the rest — this role is probably not for you.

If you like sitting with a client's story, designing the video package that actually moves their marketing forward, and staying with that work through the interview and into the editor's hands — you'll probably thrive here.

This role is for someone who thinks like a marketer first and a producer second. We need someone who can read a Client Success brief, decide what videos a practice actually needs and why, write the questions that get past the rehearsed answers, run a clean Riverside session, and brief our editors so well that the final cut hits the original goal.

How We Think About This Role
This is a video strategy and production role — not a shooter role and not a writer‑only role.

You'll own the package: what videos a client needs, what each one is for, what gets asked in the interview, what the editor builds, and how the finished assets get used across websites, social, paid media, and Google Business Profile.

Some videos become website heroes. Some become Reels and TikToks. Some become Meta or YouTube ads. A good producer here understands that "looks nice" isn't the goal — the goal is to shape something useful, human, and aligned with the client's story.

The right person can read the brief, write the questions, run the interview, and write the edit card — and still go on‑site to capture the photos a website rebuild needs.

About Us
Pain-Free Dental Marketing is a specialized marketing company that exclusively serves dental practices. We help dentists grow through story‑driven websites, SEO, paid media, video, and creative strategy. While other agencies treat dental marketing like a checklist, we care about the real people behind each practice and the patients they're trying to help.

Application questions

You're producing a video package for a new pediatric dentist. What 5 videos would you build, in what order, and why?

Walk us through a recent video project where you wrote the interview questions, ran the session, and briefed the editor. What's one edit decision you pushed for?

Share one example of content you created that had a purpose beyond just "looking nice."

Are you comfortable traveling up to 25% for client shoots now, with the potential for that to grow to around 50% as the company grows?

Applications without these specific details will not be considered.

Primary Responsibilities

Partner with Client Success to gather context on each new client — their goals, voice, audience, and the gaps their marketing needs to fill

Design the video package each client needs: what videos to produce, what platforms they're for, and what each one is meant to accomplish

Write the interview questions, scripts, hooks, and CTAs that turn that package into a recordable session

Run remote interviews on Riverside.fm — coach the subject, monitor audio and video quality, work the shot list, and ask the follow‑up that unlocks the real story

Write clear edit cards in Asana so editors know which takes matter, what story to build, what each platform cut needs, and how to land the hook

Travel to client offices to capture supporting photography for websites, social, and brand libraries (currently around 10–15% of the role)

Collaborate with account managers, editors, designers, and paid media so finished assets ladder up to the larger marketing strategy

Identify opportunities for content reuse across websites, social, paid ads, landing pages, Google Business Profiles, and client brand libraries

Qualifications
Required Capabilities

Strong writing skills with a portfolio of scripts, interview questions, briefs, hooks, or campaign copy

Marketing fluency — understanding of hooks, CTAs, platform‑native content, and audience‑first thinking

Comfort running remote video interviews and directing non‑actors, especially doctors and team members who aren't naturally comfortable on camera

Ability to think about each video as a marketing asset, not just a piece of content

Clear, organized written communication for editor briefs and internal handoffs

Working knowledge of photography, lighting, and audio sufficient to run a clean on‑site photo shoot

Willingness to travel up to 25% for client shoots, with the potential to grow to around 50% as the company grows

Ability to work full‑time

Preferred Experience

Experience producing video content for dental, healthcare, agency, brand, or service‑based clients

Familiarity with Riverside.fm, Frame.io, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Lightroom, Canva, or Google Drive

Experience writing for websites, social media, paid ads, or brand campaigns

Understanding of storytelling structure, conversion writing, and platform‑specific content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, landing page heroes)

Experience briefing editors or working in a strategist → producer → editor pipeline
