Marketing Coordinator - Temp

UFCU · Austin, TX, USA ·

Job type:
Temporary

Job Summary
The Temporary Marketing Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Marketing team by managing the intake, coordination, and delivery of high volume, quick‑turn marketing requests across the organization. This role ensures fast, consistent, and well‑managed execution of tactical marketing updates—such as flyer revisions, localized print ads, and website updates—so that Product Marketing Managers and Marketing leadership can remain focused on high‑impact, strategic initiatives that drive member growth and engagement.

Request Intake & Triage

Manage incoming marketing requests submitted through the Marcom Request Form, reviewed weekly by Marketing Leadership.

Conduct initial discovery on approved requests to clarify scope, objectives, timelines and required deliverables.

Serve as the primary point of contact for requesters, asking clarifying questions and setting realistic expectations around timelines and outcomes.

Triage requests and assign work to the appropriate internal teams (Creative, Web, or other Marketing partners).

Project Coordination

Coordinate multiple quick‑turn projects simultaneously, typically managing 8–12 requests per week.

Ensure projects move efficiently from intake to delivery while adhering to established processes and service‑level expectations.

Track progress, identify potential bottlenecks and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Ensure all requests remain aligned to scope and are not expanded into larger, strategic initiatives.

Stakeholder Communication

Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with internal partners across the organization.

Reinforce marketing processes and help educate requesters on timelines, requirements and best practices.

Help ensure internal partners have a positive and consistent experience working with the Marketing team.
