Schedule

Must be on site for every hearing. Most weeks may not be every day, but SCC will need maintenance checks, etc.

Average days on site per week will be around 3 days. Some weeks 40 hrs, some less; hours vary with the number of hearings.

About The Role

Monitor and manage webcast of Commission hearings. Tasks include ensuring that streaming and audiovisual equipment function for live webcasts; cameras, microphones, and related equipment are appropriately documenting the hearing; live management of sound and video of webcast including camera selection; troubleshooting; managing virtual witnesses through Teams and by telephone.

Hands‑on recent experience (within past two years) in broadcast studio work such as producing TV/radio news programs or multicamera presentations at complex events such as conferences; ability to follow basic elements of a hearing such as its beginning, ending, breaks and confidential sessions.

Three to five years’ experience working with audiovisual equipment including microphones, video cameras, and broadcasting/webcasting software. The more experience in these areas the better but please make sure you highlight it on the resume!
