Responsibilities

Design, construct, and maintain test fixtures based on requirements provided by Reliability Engineers to meet defined test objectives

Troubleshoot test system issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed

Conduct regular inspections of parts under test and communicate results, concerns, or failures to the responsible engineer

Perform preventive maintenance to support consistent and repeatable test operation

Support the development and improvement of test methods, lab standards, and documentation

Support lab organization and safety standards

Qualifications
Required Education

Associate’s degree or better in a mechanical, electrical, or engineering technician related field

Required Experience

3–5 years of relevant work experience

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Comfortable using hand tools, gauges, and measurement equipment such as a DMM

Strong understanding of electrical wiring & PLC I/O

Ability to read and follow technical documentation and test requirements

Ability to read and understand schematics

Clear verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely with engineers

3D modeling in software such as SolidWorks

Preferred

Familiarity with tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, LabVIEW, or Python is a plus, but not required

Solidworks CAD experience

LabView, PLC and/or RaspberryPi programming

Background Requirements
