Mid-Level Video Engineer

To support a high-impact engineering team, the full-time Mid-Level Video Engineer will work remotely to build, support, and optimize scalable video streaming solutions using Node.js, while managing data streams and enhancing video processing workflows.
Key responsibilities

Use Node.js to process and manage data streams in a microservices-based environment
Implement and troubleshoot video workflows involving HLS, adaptive streaming, FFmpeg, and codecs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve streaming quality, performance, and reliability

Required qualifications

Strong experience with Node.js in backend, microservices, or data-streaming environments
Working knowledge of HLS and adaptive streaming, along with video formats and media delivery workflows
Hands-on experience with FFmpeg, media codecs, and video processing concepts
Experience working with data streams and event-driven architectures
Ability to work in distributed systems and scalable environments
