Responsibilities

This role supports the setup, execution, and breakdown of high‑quality audio‑visual experiences across the property. The AV Support Technician ensures meetings, events, and group programs run smoothly by providing reliable technical support and responsive service

Set up, test, operate, and break down audio visual equipment for meetings, events, and group programs
Provide on‑site support for microphones, speakers, projectors, televisions, and presentation systems
Troubleshoot basic AV issues during live events to ensure minimal disruption and a seamless guest experience
Collaborate with internal departments, sales teams, and group leaders to understand and deliver event requirements
Assist with maintaining, organizing, and inventorying AV equipment and storage areas
Participate in site visits, event walk‑throughs, and pre‑event preparation as needed

Qualifications

Previous AV or technical experience is preferred, but not required.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work with staff in all levels of the hotel to ensure the ultimate guest/colleague satisfaction.
Professional demeanor, with exceptional verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Must be flexible with scheduling. Weekends or on call may be required.
Ability to work in an agile environment
Education / Experience

2 years of related IT experience.
