Key responsibilities

Serve as the primary accountability manager for external lobbyists, setting performance expectations and conducting regular assessments
Translate corporate policy positions into tailored advocacy messaging that aligns with local political dynamics
Develop and maintain relationships with state legislators and regulatory bodies, while monitoring relevant legislation affecting social gaming and related policies

Required qualifications

7-12+ years of experience in state government, lobbying, or legislative affairs, with exposure to multiple state legislatures
Experience managing external vendors or consultants against defined performance standards
Working knowledge of gaming regulation, sweepstakes law, or consumer protection policies
Established relationships with key government officials in the assigned region
Proficiency with legislative tracking tools
