Event Designer & Producer

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking an experienced NYC-based Event Designer & Producer to lead the creative planning, vendor coordination, and on-site execution of an immersive fashion/home décor industry event.

This person should have strong experience producing elevated brand activations, gallery-style events, showroom experiences, or design/fashion industry launches in New York. They will be responsible for translating the event concept into an executable plan, including spatial design, décor direction, vendor sourcing, run-of-show development, production timelines, budget tracking, and on-site management.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for interiors, textiles, lighting, and luxury brand presentation, and can manage both creative details and operational logistics. Experience working with designers, showrooms, stylists, fabricators, AV, florals, catering, photographers, and venue teams is important.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualize engaging and innovative event ideas for fashion / home design audience

Source and manage NYC-based vendors and production partners

Build and manage production timeline, run of show, and on-site staffing plan

Collaborate with decor / installation company on immersive physical event design

Manage day-of/on-site execution, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination

Lead client meetings and present event concepts and updates

Qualifications:

Based in New York City with strong local vendor relationships in art, fashion and home decor events

Proven experience managing polished, high-touch brand events

Strong creative judgment and practical production discipline

Comfortable working independently and within a defined budgetMandarin language skills are preferred but not required

Pay Rate
$65-$75/hour consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)

must be NYC based

Availability
Must be fully available week of Sept 14-18. (those are event dates in NYC)
