  • Oversee Event Coordination and Production for all theater needs, including managing rehearsal and event schedules, logistics, sound, projection, and facility maintenance.
  • Serve as a Faculty Member, providing instruction for drama electives and fulfilling standard school-wide teacher duties.
  • Direct and manage the Middle School Musical, overseeing all aspects of production for participating 7th and 8th-grade students.
  • Provide Production Support for Preschool (PS) and Lower School (LS) theatrical performances and presentations.
  • Coordinate After-Hours Theater Requests and non-teaching activities (NTR), managing facility usage beyond school hours, subject to the established hourly coordination fee.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of child development.
  • Incorporate best practices effectively into lessons that will empower students to recognize strategies to improve learning outcomes.
  • Support the school’s mission and culture in encouraging each child’s lifelong love of learning.
  • Create a classroom culture that fosters a secure, student-centered environment, promotes a challenging rigor, and develops each student’s self-confidence and integrity.
  • Have a willingness to share your knowledge, expertise, and experiences with others, helping both colleagues and students reach their goals while honoring differences of perspectives, values, and opinions.
  • Actively create networks with colleagues, other schools, and professional organizations to grow your knowledge continuously and demonstrate your commitment to lifelong learning.

  • Adhere to the school’s expectations regarding punctuality, timeliness, dress code, and confidentiality while also embracing and contributing to the school’s life beyond your instructional role.
  • Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
