Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite)

A professional services firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to support its Central and North Florida offices. This role plays a key part in driving regional growth initiatives, supporting attorneys, and executing marketing and business development efforts across multiple locations.

This is a hands‑on, highly visible role that works closely with leadership to ensure alignment on strategy, branding, and client development.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary marketing contact for the region, supporting the day-to-day needs of the Tampa and Tallahassee offices

Travel regularly between offices (1–2 times per month, sometimes multiple days) to support regional initiatives and maintain strong relationships with attorneys and staff

Develop and support regional and practice-specific business development strategies

Collaborate with leadership and attorneys to align marketing efforts with office priorities

Coordinate and help lead practice group meetings, office-wide meetings, and planning sessions

Plan and execute internal events (morale initiatives, office events, trainings) in collaboration with marketing, HR, and internal teams

Plan and execute external events including client networking events, seminars, webinars, and conferences

Act as the point of contact for regional sponsorships and conferences, ensuring deadlines are met and participation is effectively managed

Track and evaluate return on investment (ROI) for events, sponsorships, and business development initiatives

Support business development efforts by preparing RFP responses and client-facing pitch materials

Draft and edit marketing content including press releases, attorney biographies, award submissions, client alerts, and newsletters

Assist with additional marketing projects and initiatives, including social media and research support as needed

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in legal marketing or professional services marketing (law firm experience required)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting business development initiatives and coordinating events

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

High attention to detail and strong follow-through

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

Experience supporting conferences, sponsorships, and large‑scale events

Familiarity with marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or survey platforms

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field required
