This is a paid freelance, remote position. With a focus on quality, timeliness, and relevance, we aim to be the go-to destination for passionate fans and curious newcomers alike. We're looking for passionate and knowledgeable freelance books writers who can create timely, engaging content around the biggest books, authors, literary trends, publishing news, adaptations, and conversations shaping the reading community. This role goes beyond writing articles—it's about connecting with a dedicated audience of readers and entertainment fans through insightful, high-performing content.
Your Responsibilities

Monitor book industry news, literary trends, bestseller lists, social media conversations, and adaptation announcements to identify timely content opportunities
Write engaging features, mini-features, lists, rankings, recommendations, and opinion pieces related to books and literary culture
Cover topics ranging from bestselling novels and emerging authors to book-to-screen adaptations, publishing trends, and reader communities
Work closely with editors to develop compelling content ideas and execute editorial priorities
Comfortable working independently while consistently meeting deadlines
Ensure timely publication of relevant content aligned with SEO and audience engagement goals
Follow editorial and formatting guidelines rigorously
