Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator Senior leads the industry event attendance process, assists with proposal responses and other general marketing tasks working with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assists in the implementation of marketing strategies
Manages the industry event calendar for RailPros
Executes registration of attendees and secures any required sponsorships or exhibit space
Coordinates industry event communication and planning with Marketing Manager
Oversees the packing and shipping of industry event materials
Lead proposal coordination efforts for required content, including resumes, project summaries, technical write ups, and forms
Perform proposal compliance reviews and participate in color reviews
May lead proposals under the direction of a proposal manager
Provides oversight of the master library of proposal data and maintains updated information
Monitor group inboxes for marketing and proposal requests
This position may require periodic travel to RailPros headquarters, field offices, client offices, work sites and other project related locations

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High level of proofreading/editing skills and attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be a self-starter and able to move projects forward independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Positive mindset and "can-do" attitude
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, in meeting tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related degree (Will consider equivalent work experience)
Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working in Marketing, Business Development, Proposals, or Graphics department
Additional Qualifications, Certifications, etc.

Proven experience in new system implementation is a plus
