Marketing StrategistWe're looking for a motivated Marketing Strategist to support our sales and customer care teams within Principal's Retirement & Income Solutions (RIS) business. In this role, you'll help execute our B2B marketing strategy by coordinating initiatives, managing processes, and partnering with marketing segment leads to support the advisor and client experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working on a variety of projects, and take pride in delivering polished, detail-oriented work, we'd love to have you on our team.Assist in the execution of B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives aligned to strategic prioritiesPartner with segment marketers to support program delivery and day-to-day marketing needsManage Continuing Education programManage and oversee the firm collateral approval processElevate brand awareness by supporting awards programSupport reporting needs to measure effectiveness and inform future effortsContribute to ad hoc projects, helping the team stay agile and responsiveWork closely with marketing, compliance and operations to support initiatives that enhance the client and sales experience.Bachelor's degree4+ years of related work experience helping to building strategic marketing programs that deliver strong resultsMust have basic to intermediate level of knowledge of the marketing profession and modern marketing strategiesSolid strategic and critical thinking skillsAn understanding of the competition, market opportunities and customer experienceExperience partnering with or supporting a sales organizationAbility to translate data analytics into resultsOutstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred Skills that help you stand out:Familiarity with financial services or retirement industryAbility to anticipate needs, problem-solve proactively and build strong internal relationshipsGeneral understanding of Principal business, products and industry along with understanding or experience with identified audienceSalary Range Information:Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
