EB Producer

Overview

Brown & Brown is seeking an EB Producer to join our growing team in Kansas City, Missouri. The EB Producer reports to a Profit Center Leader or executive and is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying prospects, presenting tailored insurance solutions, and closing new property and casualty opportunities. The role partners with leadership to achieve sales goals, collaborates with the service team to ensure excellent client delivery, and actively prospects through calls, outreach, and in‑person visits.
Responsibilities

Develop and acquire new business revenue from new and existing clients.
Participate in the presentation of services at prospect meetings and bring new business prospects to closure.
Work closely with the Leader to set and achieve sales goals and with the service team to ensure delivery of services.
Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposing company products and services.
Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or making personal visits.
Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area through networking and professional development activities.
Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications

A minimum of 2–5 years of experience at an insurance brokerage (preferred).
Additional insurance education (preferred).
Current Life, Health, and/or licensed as a Producer of Property and Casualty in the applicable state, with ongoing license maintenance.
Ability to actively generate prospects and set appointments for new client opportunities.
Energetic, highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal communication skills.
Flexibility to meet clients' needs through initiative and integrity.
May require routine or periodic travel; ability to drive own or rental vehicle; Motor Vehicle Record and insurance coverage as required.
