Position Overview
The Social Media & Content Volunteer will help grow and strengthen Breadcoin’s digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Working closely with our Director of Communications, you’ll help capture, create, and schedule compelling content that amplifies our mission and engages our community.

Key Responsibilities

Attend Breadcoin events in person to capture photos and videos for use across social media

Edit photos and videos for social media use

Design graphics and posts using Canva

Collaborate with the Director of Communications to develop and maintain a social media content calendar

Create and schedule content for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Bring ideas for posts, stories, and Reels

What We’re Looking For

Interest in social media content creation, photography, or videography

Comfortable using Canva (or willing to learn)

Basic photo and video editing skills

Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

Based in the DC/Baltimore area and able to attend Breadcoin events as needed to capture content on-site

Organized, reliable, and able to follow through on tasks

Self-motivated, collaborative, and passionate about community impact

Summer Internship Opportunities
Are you a student looking for meaningful summer experience? Breadcoin is open to discussing an unpaid internship arrangement for the summer months. Interns would gain structured experience in nonprofit communications, content strategy, and community engagement. Please indicate your interest in an internship when you apply.
