Executive Podcast Producer (Austin-based)

Roster manages the hiring process for the top global creators and brands. An Austin-based podcast studio is building a breakout show around one of the most magnetic, unfiltered female creators on the internet — 2M+ followers and a loyal, dedicated audience — and is on the hunt for an Executive Producer to own the production and grow with the studio! We're helping them fill this position.

Requirements

You're based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX — this role works in-studio and in-person
You have proven video-first, long-form production experience at a high level
You use data the way great producers use instinct — to make every episode better than the last
You're a builder who has stood up systems and workflows from scratch, not inherited them
You're curious about what makes audiences stay, share, and come back — and disciplined about acting on it
Familiarity with production and editing tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, Frame.io, CapCut) is a plus
Responsibilities

Own the full production operation — format, structure, pacing, and weekly execution
Coach and develop the host's long-form voice
Use data and audience signals — retention, clip performance, what's landing and why — to drive weekly creative decisions
Test and iterate constantly on titles, thumbnails, guest selection, and episode structure
Build and lead the production team from the ground up
Engineer clip architecture so every episode ships with a short-form distribution plan
Partner with the founder on guest strategy, topic selection, and growth
Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
