What We’re Looking For:
Santé is seeking a

Psychiatric Recovery Counselor (in office)

to join our peer recovery team in

Lanham, MD . The PRP Counselor provides rehabilitation, casework, and individual and group work services to individuals and their families by performing the following duties.
What You’ll Do:
Completes assessment on clients' social, emotional, financial, health, or other problems to develop rehabilitation treatment plan
Develop and implements treatment plans with client
Counsels clients, assisting them to identify and resolve problems and make effective use of resources
Organizes and conducts psycho‑educational groups as needed
Works closely with families of clients and provides appropriate clinical referrals for family members.
Provides individual rehabilitation counseling
Maintains working relationships with staff of other agencies and institutions, homes, and facilities, and acts as liaison between clients and agency or institution
Develops and maintains contact with other agency staff and local service providers to promote coordination and integration of care
Helps clients understand mental illness and how it affects their health and lifestyle
Teaches independence and self‑advocacy by encouraging clients to do things for themselves
Prepares and maintains written case records, reports, notes and forms
Performs case follow‑up and closing, and performs other administrative tasks as required
Monitors progress of client treatment and approves
Checks work e‑mail according to agency protocol
Participates in and completes all required trainings
Other duties as assigned
What We Require:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
OR
Associates degree with two (2) years of related experience
What You’ll Get:
Pay Range: $20.00 to $22.00

per hour (depending on experience).
