Live Event Producer/Video Editor

Insight Global is looking for a Live Event Producer/Video Editor for a client in Scottsdale, AZ.

*This is a temporary position that will primarily be remote aside from the week of rehearsals and the week of the event.

*Part-time hours to start (10-15 hours per week), will increase to 30-40 hours per week as the event date gets closer

Live Event Producer/Video Editor
Location: Scottsdale, AZ - Remote aside from rehearsal & event weeks

Duration: 3 month contract (June - September 2026)

Hours: 10-15 hours per week to start, 30-40 hours per week closer to event date

Pay Range: $25/hr-$28/hr

Must Haves

5+ years of experience in live event production and/or video production

Proven experience calling live shows (cueing speakers, video, transitions in real time)

Strong video editing experience (no preference on specific editing tools!)

Ability to own end-to-end video production (editing, timelines, revisions, delivery)

Experience working cross-functionally with AV teams and creative stakeholders

Highly organized and deadline-driven - able to keep multiple workstreams on track

Strong communication skills, especially in leader-facing environments

Ability to stay calm under pressure and pivot quickly during live events

Demonstrated resourcefulness and autonomy (minimal day-to-day oversight)

Must have a portfolio/sizzle reel showcasing previous projects

Job Description
Our client is seeking a Live Event Producer / Video Editor to support their annual internal awards program - a high-visibility live event hosted in Scottsdale, AZ. This role blends video production and live show execution, owning pre-event content creation and serving as the production lead calling the live show. The ideal candidate is creative, resourceful, and thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes event environments.
