The role of Industry Marketing is responsible for creating and overseeing a team that works alongside marketing to create and curate different local parties and events at each of Hakkasan’s nightclubs or day clubs on industry nights or days.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Provide a friendly, personal demeanor with a willingness to interact

Provide professional and friendly guest services

Ability to work safely and prevent personal injury

Commitment to the safety of fellow co‑workers and our guests, and the ability to demonstrate that commitment through daily actions

Assist with all industry events and industry groups in our venues

Responsible for curating local birthdays, hotel drops, and industry drops

Collaborate with marketing on varied concepts to keep industry relationships energized

Create and facilitate events for local guests to include but not limited to: industry night, themed party

Assist VIP hosts with their customers ensuring guests have the best time at our venues whether it be an industry night or weekend

Liaison for influencers from our out of market groups and competing venues (LA, Social Media Influencers, etc.)

Assist in hosting events at regional and international venues

Book commission paid tables

Work within the venue and perform additional duties equivalent to the VIP liaison and host duties

Attend local events and represent the company for awards

Meet with the VIP lead and Executive of the venue after every event

Monitor all Promotions Hosts weekly revenue and guest list numbers to ensure they are hitting their stated requirements per position

Ensure all Promotions Hosts hit their minimum requirement of checked‑in guests on the VIP guest list per week at assigned venue

Ensure all Promotions Hosts maintain the minimum revenue support weekly requirements at company venues other than home venue

Ensure all VIP table reservations and Guestlist entries are entered in Venue Driver including guests full name, cell number, and email address. Reservations without complete information will not be counted towards the minimum requirements and individual commissions will not be paid

Work in conjunction with the Lead VIP Marketing Host on all administrative tasks of the VIP Marketing team including, but not limited to, production reports, training staff, and scheduling

Assign data collection, marketing, and social media tasks for VIP Marketing staff to complete

Be attentive to all company related events, upcoming venues, changes and pass all information on to all the VIP Marketing staff

Ensure all employees keep a proper and professional appearance and attitude

Attend Lead Meetings

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

High School Diploma required or equivalent. College degree preferred

Must be able to obtain the necessary state/venue work card

Minimum of five to seven (5 – 7) years of nightlife industry

Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Mac, OSX, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred

21+ years of age

SKILLS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT / SCHEDULE

Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate

Must have good positive energy throughout the day

Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to move quickly

Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance

Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume

May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required

Exposure to cleaning materials

Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant working environment

Maintain a professional, neat, and well‑groomed appearance adhering to Company standards

Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co‑workers in a professional, courteous manner

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to handle a fast‑paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
