Job Summary

The Account Marketing Executive supports the Business Development team by leading the strategy and execution of growth-focused marketing initiatives, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and talent attraction. This role blends creative storytelling, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate the firm’s brand and position in the industry. The Account Marketing Executive will develop and implement targeted campaigns, oversee event marketing efforts, and manage projects end-to-end to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable impact. Acting as both a strategic partner and hands‑on contributor, this individual plays a critical role in driving engagement, generating leads, and strengthening relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Support the creative development, presentation, and implementation of the firm’s growth (recruiting) marketing initiatives and collateral and gifting strategies as identified by management
Collaborate with management to formulate and execute growth (recruiting) marketing and communication projects and initiatives while contributing innovative ideas and strategies
In partnership with the company’s Marketing and Communications Team, conceptualize and execute advertising/marketing campaigns and other collateral and communications, ensuring alignment with the brand’s tone and goals
Share the firm’s position in the industry with target audiences by copy‑writing various marketing collateral and communications and conveying Cambridge’s differentiators to external audiences
Serve as a knowledge leader with the department guiding marketing and communication initiatives
Encourage maximum attendee engagement by planning, preparing, and promoting recruiting events, including webinars and in‑person Cambridge‑hosted and industry events
Troubleshoot and reconcile issues resulting in a positive experience to foster long‑term relationships between Business Development and the collaborating internal teams and external partners, including industry publications and vendors
Use data to support the effectiveness of department marketing efforts, drive future improvements, and increase leads while staying updated on trends in creative design, products, digital media
Act as a project manager and coordinate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, ensuring timely completion, quality control, and, when necessary, budget adherence and proactively addressing issues and concerns
What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic marketing professional with a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of how to engage talent audiences. With four or more years of relevant experience, the candidate brings a proven ability to manage complex projects, develop compelling campaigns, and translate business objectives into impactful marketing initiatives. The candidate is highly collaborative, working effectively across teams while also demonstrating ownership and leadership within their function. The candidate is data‑driven and continually seeks insights to optimize performance and innovate on approach. Strong communication and copywriting skills are essential, along with the ability to balance creative thinking with executional excellence. Experience in financial services or a regulated environment is a plus. Above all, the candidate is proactive, resourceful, and energized by contributing to a high‑performing Business Development team.
Salary Range

$50,000 – $70,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the company’s operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.
Certifications

Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series7 required within 12 months of hire.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located near one of our hubs (Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to work this schedule. Cambridge is not considering remote candidates at this time.
