Reliability Lab Technician, Cooper Lighting Solutions

Job Overview

Reliability Lab Technician at Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify. Performing laboratory testing and issuing test reports in a timely manner to support product development.
Responsibilities

Perform laboratory testing (electrical, mechanical, thermal, etc.)
Issue test reports promptly
Maintain a Laboratory Testing Schedule and estimate completion dates
Identify and implement new testing capabilities and document standard procedures
Perform and document improvement activities to increase lab efficiencies
Maintain documentation necessary for external certification (UL, NVLAP, ETL, etc.)
Qualifications

Technical or High School Diploma; associate degree preferred
Exceptional electrical and mechanical knowledge
Ability to do minor software programming a plus
Ability to read, interpret, and implement standard test requirements
Reliability lab experience preferred
Proficient technical reporting skills
Excellent analytical thinking and time management skills with great attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship
Salary & Benefits

Salary: $31.43 - 46.10 per hour based on experience. Bonus: target bonus opportunity – 2.5%.
