Ideal candidates should be local to the desired location.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.What You'll Do:Work closely with other team members to serve clients within the office of the CFO of private equity portfolio companies, in the areas of finance strategy and processes improvements such as:Conduct and support finance function diagnostics: assessing an organization's people, process and technology to come up with recommendations and a value-creation roadmapDesign and support process enhancements across the any of the following process areas: lead-to-cash, source-to-pay, record-to-report and FP&ADesign future state operating platforms (organization structure, finance processes, technology stack)Develop implementation plans for initiatives on a strategic roadmap, supported by quantified benefits/value and qualitative substantiationSupport execution of plans to optimize technology, drive process automation (within ERPs or leveraging bespoke technologies and AI)Support Transformation Directors in driving transformation program governance over multi-workstream engagementsSupport the coordination of change management across multiple functions and workstreamsDetermine and measure the ROI of improvement initiatives, identifying risks to delivery and working with client and internal teams to develop mitigation strategiesBring financial expertise and leading practices to engagementsManage transformation workstreams at a single client

under the guidance of Accordion Managing Directors, Senior Directors and/or DirectorsManage junior resources (Associates, or Analysts)Interact and build relationships with all levels of client stakeholders at portfolio companies as well as representatives from Private Equity sponsorsAssist in growing the firm by supporting business development activities

developing proposals in collaboration with multiple practice teamsSupport internal firm initiatives to enhance our ability to serve clients and continually improve our internal capabilitiesTravel to client site as neededYou Have:Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience working in a client serving role at a top-tier public accounting or financial advisory firm, and/or mix of client service and private industry experience at a senior levelBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. MBA is a plusProven experience successfully leading workstreams, managing not only client dynamics but internal team dynamics as wellA strong and up-to date knowledge of finance best practices specifically related to the professionalization of the finance functionGeneralist across, or subject matter expert in, financial business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, FP&A, as well as other functions under the CFO purviewExtensive expertise related to the design and implementation of strategies, processes and technology which increase effectiveness, reduce costs and improve profit/shareholder valueExperience enabling financial processes with finance automation and technology deploymentExperience performing financial function assessmentsExperience supporting strategic finance transformationsExperience working in a private equity environment, with an understanding of the unique requirements of the private equity consulting environmentStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong client service mindsetYou Are:A self-starter with a strong work ethicA strong team player, able to work with team members across all levelsSomeone who enjoys mentoring others and being mentored by othersExcited to be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growthAble to effectively communicate complex issues and solutions, and raise issues to senior team members when necessaryPassionate about delivering exceptional client serviceFull of entrepreneurial spirit and comfortable in a fluid, flat organizationWilling to get your hands dirty in the details of a project while simultaneously seeing the whole pictureComfortable managing a workstream and managing risks, progress and dependencies with other teams/workstream, as well as executing tactical tasks within your workstream (you are managing and doing).The annual salary for this role ranges from: $144,500 to $200,000 USD + benefits + bonus.
