Title: Program Supervisor – Mobility RARET (Equitable Transportation)
Location: Redmond, WA with regular travel within King County and occasional travel through Pierce and Snohomish Counties. Occasional travel outside the tri‑county areas is a possibility to support professional development opportunities and/or speaking engagements.
Work schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. Hybrid schedule with approximately 70% remote and 30% in‑person. Occasional evenings and weekends may be needed to support events that take place outside of regular working hours with the option to flex time.
Since 1971, Hopelink has provided stability‑building programs for people experiencing poverty, immigrants and refugees, and people with disabilities. We are the largest nonprofit in North and East King County.
Hopelink’s Mobility Management team empowers people to change their lives by facilitating access to the community. We do this by (1) providing travel education and resources to build awareness of existing transportation options; (2) supporting the coordination of specialized transportation through cross‑sector collaborations; and (3) gathering data and needs assessment to recommend and implement improved services. We work to make it easier for all people to get around King County through innovative, collaborative problem solving.
The position provides leadership to the Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET) workgroup on behalf of Hopelink. The RARET Program Supervisor serves as a mobility expert in their region/scope and is responsible for coalition communications, meeting facilitation, community relationship building, coalition recruitment, coalition engagement, and marketing. In addition, this position supports project management of RARET’s projects and initiatives.
The RARET Program Supervisor advocates for those who need transportation, facilitates discussion, teaches, connects and partners with organizations to champion transportation solutions.

Strong leadership skills with a talent for building professional relationships and the ability to work collaboratively on projects.
Skilled in effective action planning and project implementation. Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects; strong planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Skilled in meeting facilitation, event coordination, and public speaking. Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Experience collecting and analyzing data, defining problems, identifying potential solutions, developing implementation strategies, and evaluating outcomes.
Experience working with diverse communities, including low‑income, older adults, people with disabilities, immigrants, refugees, youth, and/or veterans.
Knowledge of passenger transportation services in King County and Puget Sound region desired.
Ability to travel to offsite work locations or meetings within reason on a regular basis.
Examples of what you will be doing:
Lead the Regional Alliance for Resilient and Equitable Transportation (RARET) workgroup and/or subcommittees; develop and execute RARET initiatives.
Serve as the point of contact for RARET members and coordinate day‑to‑day communication to support the activities and engagement of the coalition.
Analyze, develop partnerships, and actively recruit/retain members.
Identify obstacles to special needs transportation coordination efforts during emergencies or adverse weather and organize efforts to remove or reduce barriers in collaboration with RARET partners.
Serve as project manager for the RARET projects and initiatives to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget; support financial oversight and grant compliance; develop strategies for seeking other funding sources.
Proactively identify ways to increase awareness of and support for specialized transportation for emergencies; maintain and share up‑to‑date information on transportation services and emergency best practices; promote access to transportation services.
Improve mobility for seniors, people with disabilities, low‑income individuals, and other access and functional needs populations by fostering partnerships and managing projects.
Track, analyze and report outcome data and metrics.
Provide and coordinate trainings or presentations to transportation providers, emergency management professionals, and relevant stakeholders on transportation for access and functional needs populations during emergencies.

$30.00 / hour
Up to 10 paid vacation and sick days annually and 10 paid holidays,
