Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Position Summary
Coordinate and oversee the daily operation of the Bridger program and supervise staff to ensure delivery of quality care to consumers. The position may involve supervised or unsupervised contact and conversational interaction with consumers in residences, day treatments, and habilitation facilities.
Essential Accountabilities
Screen clients, conduct assessments and determine areas of need for successful discharge from Kingsboro Psychiatric Center.
Oversee program operation in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Participate in development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with agency and DOHMH regulations.
Monitor audit procedures designed to address regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
Develop and assess program needs.
Provide supervision/evaluation of staff and conduct in‑services as needed.
Coordinate staff work schedules and assignments.
Ensure all documentation is completed timely and compliant with agency & DMH policies.
Maintain physical plant compliance with agency and DMH regulations.
Report and document all incidents to immediate supervisor within 24 hours.
Be on call 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergencies.
Other Responsibilities
Operate agency vehicle if required.
Attend scheduled training relevant to the position or as directed by supervisor.
Participate in activities of other staff members during absences or staff shortages.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Represent the Program at meetings and unspecified trainings.
Accept additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; must be OMH‑certified Peer Specialist or OASAS‑certified Peer Advocate. Bachelor's degree in Human Services (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling) is preferred. Minimum five years of work experience in mental health.
