Position Summary
Our Event Marketers attend promotional events including, but not limited to, home shows, fairs, 3rd party retail sites, and more, as a unified team of representatives. They work together and support one another as they strive to meet both shared and individual goals and set qualified appointments for our in‑home Design Consultants.

Event Marketers play a pivotal role in our company’s success. They hold the power to set the tone for customer relationships, applying skillful communication tactics to build trust and show care for the unique needs and preferences of each prospect honestly and authentically.

They are an agent of the company, bringing our solutions directly to consumers and setting the expectation for how Renewal by Andersen respects the honor of being welcomed into our customer’s homes. They demonstrate knowledge and expertise, adeptly addressing concerns, highlighting benefits, and providing relevant information.

Customer service and sales skills, such as conversational agility, empower our agents to adapt their approach and deliver tailored solutions based on the responses they receive. Resilience in the face of potential rejection and the ability to maintain professional enthusiasm in any situation are essential characteristics to their success.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record per company standards

For drivers of an RBA or personal vehicle, must hold a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, be approved by RbA’s insurance, and provide copies to Human Resources

Willingness to reasonably withstand the elements throughout each season

Ready to work in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind; must observe safety protocols and protect self and teammates during the workday

Acceptance that field work may be called off due to weather conditions at the discretion of the Non‑Traditional Marketing Manager, with alternative work such as training or role‑playing offered as needed

Responsibilities

Achieve sales and demo goals outlined by management

Comply with department policies and procedures

Maintain a healthy team culture by engaging in the team group chat conversation, supporting teammates, and offering help as needed

Demonstrate integrity in all interactions with teammates, office staff, and homeowners

Maintain a safe and productive environment in both the office and the field

Ensure all necessary equipment is available daily

Meet uniform and hygiene requirements

Keep the event work area clean, including the company vehicle while in use

Utilize continuous improvement and training opportunities

Engage in training methods like role‑playing activities to improve interactions with homeowners

Utilize all performance management tools and processes offered by RbA

Meet attendance and performance expectations

Provide signature service in accordance with Renewal by Andersen standards

Perform any other related, unrelated, unassigned, unspecified, out of the ordinary or special duties assigned

Event Marketers may work retail shifts; during retail shifts, they will hold the same high standard of presentation, behavior, and performance within third‑party retailer partner locations

Physical Demands / Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, carry up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision. Communication requirements include English verbal speech and written communication.

The Event Marketer position involves operating in diverse environments to engage with members of the community. The work environment can vary significantly; candidates should be prepared for indoor and outdoor environments, travel via automobile, variable hours, and changing locations.

Compensation

Hourly, paid semi‑monthly

Eligibility for demo bonuses, and commission on sales per the Event Marketing Employee Agreement & Compensation Plan. Renewal by Andersen reserves the right to amend this compensation structure.
