Senior Marketing Manager, Core Lab Customer Strategy
Roche invites you to join our Core Lab Marketing team, where passionate leaders make a real impact for patients, customers, and their communities. This role sits at the center of the Core Lab marketing team, orchestrating across product and marketing teams to bring our Total Integrated Solution to life in the market.
The Opportunity
As the voice of the customer, you’ll translate deep insights and segmentation data into strategies that drive demand, differentiate Roche, and accelerate wins while championing compelling customer stories and strategic narratives across business units.
Key Job Responsibilities
Demonstrate deep understanding of customers, their beliefs, behaviors, competitors, testing settings, and broader market landscape; use customer data, insights, and NPS to develop strategies that drive win rates and customer retention.
Act as the center of the Core Lab marketing team, aligning product and marketing managers to bring the Total Integrated Solution cohesively across the portfolio; own and maintain the strategic narrative and content library.
Utilize our customer segmentation model, refine it, and advise sales on converting insights into recommendations that enhance strategy and execution.
Identify strategic customers, develop compelling case studies, testimonials, and campaigns, and partner with them to showcase the value of Roche's Total Solution.
Dedicate 5-10% of your capacity to Account-Based Experience (ABX) initiatives, partnering with sales on strategic accounts to co-develop tailored engagement plans.
Accelerate channel fill activities to support pipeline velocity and demand realization.
Advise senior management and stakeholders, report on special projects and emerging opportunities, and lead through influence while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
5 years of marketing, business, sales or relevant experience.
Knowledge of the Core Lab market segment, product portfolio, or customer buying journey is preferred.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that deliver measurable business results.
Leadership ability and role-modeling, capable of driving meaningful outcomes through others.
Strong collaborator who can overcome organizational barriers.
Customer-oriented, with ability to set clear priorities, make trade-off decisions, and focus on what matters most to customers.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, leveraging research and behavioral data.
Skilled at managing marketing agencies and external partners.
Ability to travel as dictated by business need.
Location
This position is based onsite at our Indianapolis campus. No relocation benefits are provided for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is between $124,400 and $231,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
