Overview
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the execution of sales programs across the Global Technology Sales (GTS) Channel – Gartner’s largest revenue-generating business unit. An individual contributor position, the role leads high‑impact sales programs, enhances existing initiatives such as Invitational Programs, Quarterly Campaigns, and monthly Kick‑Start Conferences, and collaborates with Business Unit Partners to develop new initiatives. The work directly influences Gartner’s senior leaders, shaping both strategic and operational priorities.
Responsibilities
- Sales Enablement & Support: Partner with Sales and Business Unit teams to deliver the Kick‑Start Conferences Sales Enablement session, providing sellers with best practices, training, and operational support.
- Program & Project Management: Lead end‑to‑end execution and continuous improvement of GTS’s strategic programs, pilots, and key initiatives, ensuring objectives are met and enhancements are implemented.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Conferences, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and other internal teams to align on planning, execution, and ongoing program improvements.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate program goals, value, and progress to stakeholders through group and 1:1 sessions to ensure buy‑in and engagement.
- Key Leader Engagement & Decision Support: Engage with senior leaders across business units, including executives, to provide insights, inform decision‑making, and advance strategic priorities.
- Analytics & Continuous Improvement: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify gaps and opportunities, align findings with partners, and drive ongoing program improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years total business experience and/or 5+ years of sales management experience in a business‑to‑business environment (preferred).
- 3–5+ years of internal Gartner experience (preferred but not required).
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Operational Excellence & Program Management: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure flawless execution, continuous improvement, and high‑quality delivery of complex programs and initiatives.
- Influencing & Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build trust, influence stakeholders at all levels (including executives), and foster productive cross‑functional partnerships.
- Communication & Executive Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, tailor messaging to diverse audiences, and present confidently to senior leadership.
- Adaptability & Change Leadership: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, with a proactive mindset to lead others through shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
