The Role
The Director, Advertising Sales (CTV) will lead revenue generation efforts across Fremantle’s Connected TV (CTV), FAST, AVOD, and streaming advertising portfolio. This role will focus on building strategic relationships with agencies, brands, holding companies, AdTech partners to drive direct and programmatic advertising revenue growth across Fremantle’s premium entertainment, game show, lifestyle, and unscripted content inventory.
Responsibilities
- Drive advertising revenue growth across CTV, FAST, OTT, AVOD, and digital video inventory.
- Develop and manage relationships with agencies, brands, SSPs, DSPs, trading desks, and media buyers.
- Identify and secure sponsorships, private marketplace (PMP) deals, programmatic guaranteed (PG) campaigns, and direct IO opportunities.
- Collaborate with programmatic, finance, ad operations, marketing, and content distribution teams to maximize monetization opportunities.
- Develop strategic sales plans aligned with Fremantle’s commercial goals and audience growth initiatives.
- Partner with internal leadership to create packaging strategies leveraging Fremantle IP, FAST channels, and streaming inventory.
- Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, pricing, audience targeting, measurement, and attribution solutions within the CTV ecosystem.
- Support revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting.
- Represent Fremantle at industry events, client meetings, upfronts, and marketplace discussions.
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to ensure campaign delivery, optimization, and client satisfaction.
Essentials
- 7–10+ years of experience in digital media, CTV, streaming, or advertising sales.
- Strong relationships with agencies, brands, and advertising decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of CTV, FAST, AVOD, and programmatic advertising ecosystems.
- Experience selling premium video inventory and integrated advertising solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technology teams.
- Experience with SSPs, DSPs, ad servers, and measurement platforms is preferred.
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Nice to Have
- Experience within media, entertainment, streaming, or television organizations.
- Understanding of audience data, contextual targeting, and advanced advertising solutions.
- Strong expertise with Powerpoint, Keynote and Excel.
- Experience participating in industry conferences, client presentations, and executive-level sales discussions.
The pay rate for this position is between $150,000-$180,000/annually, exclusive of any bonuses or other incentive compensation (if any).
