We are looking for a Director of Brand, Marketing & Digital Experience who is equal parts strategist, storyteller, project leader, and growth driver. This isn't a corporate marketing role buried beneath layers of bureaucracy. You'll work directly with executive leadership, influence company strategy, lead brand evolution initiatives, launch new products, oversee major international boat shows, transform digital customer experiences, and help shape the future of three growing marine industry brands. Opportunity

The Director of Brand, Marketing & Digital Experience will lead all marketing initiatives across three distinct but complementary marine industry brands. This position combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution. Some days you'll present growth initiatives to company leadership. Other days you'll coordinate a product launch, manage a content shoot onboard a yacht, plan an international trade show, review website designs, or collaborate with agency partners to bring a brand vision to life.

Major Initiatives You Will Lead (12–24 months)

Brand Evolution & Refresh

One of our core brands is currently undergoing a strategic brand refresh designed to better position the company for future growth while preserving the trust and reputation it has earned throughout the marine industry. Working with our agency of record and executive leadership team, you will help guide the evolution of brand positioning, messaging, visual identity, customer experience, and market presence.

Website Transformation & Digital Experience

Our organization is investing heavily in creating a best‑in‑class digital experience across all brands. You will lead website strategy, user experience improvements, content architecture, SEO initiatives, conversion optimization efforts, and customer journey enhancements designed to better serve customers throughout every stage of the buying process.

Shopify Integration & eCommerce Growth

A key strategic initiative includes the development and expansion of our online parts and accessories business through Shopify. The Director of Brand, Marketing & Digital Experience will oversee the implementation and optimization of Shopify‑powered eCommerce experiences designed to simplify purchasing, improve customer satisfaction, and support long‑term revenue growth.

Responsibilities

eCommerce

  • Manage external Shopify developers and integration partners.
  • Lead eCommerce strategy and online merchandising initiatives.
  • Improve product discovery, navigation, and user experience.
  • Support inventory visibility and product organization.
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns that drive online sales.
  • Create scalable systems that make it easier for customers to find and purchase the products they need.
  • Experience with Shopify, eCommerce strategy, digital merchandising, or online customer experience initiatives is highly desirable.

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Lead brand strategy across all three companies.
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards, messaging, and positioning.
  • Ensure consistency across all customer‑facing channels.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and market differentiation.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, expansion, and brand development.

Growth Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Develop marketing programs that generate measurable business results.
  • Support dealer acquisition and dealer enablement initiatives.
  • Drive lead generation through digital channels, content marketing, events, and partnerships.
  • Improve marketing attribution and reporting capabilities.
  • Create scalable systems that support long‑term growth.

Website & Digital Experience

  • Own digital strategy across all websites and digital properties.
  • Manage website development projects and optimization initiatives.
  • Improve user experience, conversion rates, SEO performance, and lead generation.
  • Develop landing pages, campaign experiences, product pages, and resource centers.
  • Monitor analytics and continuously improve digital performance.

Content Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Develop content strategies and editorial calendars.
  • Manage photography, videography, and creative production.
  • Create articles, case studies, customer stories, technical content, and product marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to transform technical information into engaging educational content.
  • Support SEO and organic growth initiatives through strategic content development.
  • Repurpose content across websites, email campaigns, social media, training materials, and dealer communications.

Product Launches & Innovation Marketing

  • Lead go‑to‑market planning for new products and technologies.
  • Develop launch strategies, messaging, training materials, and promotional assets.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams, dealers, distributors, and agency partners.
  • Build awareness and excitement around new innovations.

Trade Shows & Events

  • Lead planning and execution for major domestic and international industry events, including Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Palm Beach International Boat Show, Cannes Yachting Festival, METS Amsterdam, Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, dealer meetings and training events.
  • Event strategy and planning.
  • Budget management.
  • Booth design and logistics.
  • Promotional campaigns.
  • Lead generation programs.
  • Event reporting and post‑show follow‑up.

Marketing Operations & Vendor Management

  • Own annual marketing planning and budgeting.
  • Manage agencies, contractors, freelancers, and technology partners.
  • Build processes that improve efficiency and execution.
  • Maintain project accountability and timelines.
  • Establish KPIs and reporting systems.

Analytics & Performance

  • Monitor campaign performance and return on investment.
  • Track website, email, social media, eCommerce, and lead generation metrics.
  • Deliver executive‑level reporting and insights.
  • Use data to guide marketing decisions and resource allocation.

Leadership

  • Serve as the central marketing leader across all brands.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, service, and executive leadership teams.
  • Build and mentor future marketing resources as the company grows.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi‑channel marketing programs across digital, content, events, and brand channels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience overseeing external agencies, vendors, creative partners, and other third‑party resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • A strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, analytics, and customer experience best practices.
  • The ability to balance long‑term strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and day‑to‑day implementation.
  • Proven success managing competing priorities and delivering results in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience within the marine industry.
  • Familiarity with the yachting industry and its customer base.
  • Experience managing Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
  • Proven involvement in website redesign, digital transformation, or customer experience modernization initiatives.
  • Experience coordinating and managing web developers, contractors, and technology vendors.
  • Marketing experience within B2B, technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineered product environments.
  • Experience supporting product launches and go‑to‑market strategies.
  • Photography, video production, content creation, or multimedia marketing experience.

Schedule & Conditions

Full‑time, in‑office position | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.
