Active Directory Engineer
US/Remote
Job Summary
An Active Directory (AD) Engineer specializes in designing, implementing, and
maintaining Microsoft's Active Directory infrastructure, which manages user
identities, authentication, and access in Windows environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
• AD Engineers handle complex tasks like troubleshooting replication,
authentication, and performance issues across multi-forest setups.
• They design Group Policy Objects (GPOs), integrate with services like DNS,
DHCP, ADFS, and PKI, and support migrations to cloud platforms such as
Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Additional duties include scripting with PowerShell for automation,
conducting security assessments, and collaborating on enterprise-wide
projects.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Deep expertise in AD architecture, LDAP queries, and hybrid environments (on-
premises and cloud).
• Proficiency in Windows Server roles, SSO integration, and tools like FIM for
synchronization.
• Strong problem-solving, with experience in security compliance (IAM, PAM) and
root-cause analysis
