USANA Health Sciences · Salt Lake City, UT, USA ·

Job type:
Full Time

Description

Who We Are Looking for and What You Will Do as a USANA Manager of Reputation & Public Relations

We are looking for an experienced and creative individual to join our team as a manager of reputation and public relations. This role is responsible for overseeing USANA's brand reputation, monitoring sentiment, and driving strategies that strengthen trust across external platforms and audiences

In this role, you will serve as the primary steward of how USANA is perceived in the world-protecting and strengthening our brand reputation across third-party review platforms, earned media, and the broader public conversation. While continuing to deliver polished press releases and award submissions, your broader focus will center on building brand trust: monitoring sentiment, managing our presence across key platforms, and translating insights into forward-thinking strategies that keep USANA ahead of the curve.

Our ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and doer-and above all, a go-getter. This is a role for someone who spots a gap, takes initiative, and consistently brings thoughtful solutions to the table. If you are known for raising your hand, following through, and making things happen without waiting to be asked, you will thrive here.

Reputation Management
Own USANA's strategy and day-to-day presence across third-party review and credibility platforms, including responding to reviews and maintaining a consistent brand voice
Monitor brand sentiment across media outlets, forums, social channels, and review platforms-delivering regular reporting with clear insights and actionable recommendations
Surface potential reputation risks early and recommend proactive responses before issues escalate
Research emerging platforms, industry trends, and competitive activity-and translate insights into strategic recommendations for leadership
Develop and execute initiatives that strengthen brand trust and credibility with key audiences
Public Relations

Write, edit, and distribute press releases for product launches, company milestones, executive announcements, and other newsworthy moments
Research, prepare, and submit industry award and recognition applications
Manage inbound media inquiries and build relationships with relevant journalists, publications, and outlets
Partner with leadership to develop clear, compelling messaging for both proactive and reactive communications
Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities for executives-including podcast appearances, bylined articles, and speaking engagements-to elevate USANA's voice in the health, wellness, and business communities
Support crisis communications strategy and execution in collaboration with the broader team
What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field
7+ years of experience in public relations, communications, brand reputation, or a closely related field - ideally with exposure to both PR and reputation management
Hands-on experience managing third-party review platforms (Trustpilot, Google Business, BBB, or similar) and brand monitoring tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency
Ability to work effectively under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to track and synthesize brand sentiment data into actionable recommendations
Experience developing or supporting executive visibility programs, including speaker placement, media pitching, or thought leadership content
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital PR strategies
What Will Make You Standout

Familiarity with influencer and affiliate reputation ecosystems
A track record of launching or improving a brand's presence on third-party review and credibility platforms
Experience managing award submissions with measurable results (wins, finalist recognition, etc.)
Comfort presenting reputation insights and strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership
*This is a hybrid role with regular weekly in-office time in Salt Lake City.
