Job Overview
KPIX is seeking a highly talented part‑time video editor with a passion for news and experience using non‑linear editing equipment. This position is temporary, per diem, or freelance (non‑staff).

Responsibilities

Edit news footage on the Grass Valley Edius editing system (preferred).

Collaborate with the editorial team to deliver timely, high‑quality content.

Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Contribute to English (ENG) duties as part of regular responsibilities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a fast‑paced television news environment.

Detail‑oriented, deadline driven with minimal supervision.

Creative and poised team player who can juggle multiple projects.

Flexibility to work nights, overnights, and weekends as needed.

Links to demo reel demonstrating abilities required.
