Milwaukee Magazine is seeking an Editorial Intern for Fall 2026. The role involves fact‑checking, writing for print and online editions, assisting with research projects, and contributing to editorial brainstorming sessions.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough fact‑checking for assigned stories.
Write articles for print editions and the magazine’s website.
Assist with larger research projects related to editorial content.
Participate in brainstorming sessions to shape editorial direction.
Qualifications
15‑20 hours per week, hybrid schedule.
Experience working in a journalistic environment (professional or student publication).
Strong understanding of AP Style and willingness to learn the magazine’s style guide.
Comfortable verifying facts and not assuming accuracy.
UNPAID position; must be eligible for college course credit.
