Job Title: CRM & Retention Marketing Manager

Location: New Jersey (Hybrid / Remote Open)

The CRM & Retention Marketing Manager will take full ownership of scaling outbound marketing efforts across email, SMS, promotions, and lead retargeting channels. Reporting directly to leadership, this role involves managing large-scale campaigns, coordinating with external list vendors, and optimizing automated workflows to maximize conversions. This is an execution-focused, direct-response position requiring a professional who excels at list management, deliverability tracking, and high-volume revenue generation rather than traditional brand marketing.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, CRM/lifecycle marketing, and direct-response lead generation

Experience managing large outbound campaigns and optimizing list performance

Solid understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, and list management

Professional background within the automotive, warranty, insurance, financial services, affiliate marketing, or call-center sectors

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with automated campaign tools and platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, Twilio, SendGrid, or Zapier

Aggressive growth mindset with a highly analytical approach to marketing ROI

Comfortable operating and executing quickly in a high-volume outbound environment

Tech Breakdown

60% Email Marketing Infrastructure & Automated Flows

40% SMS & Text Retargeting Campaigns

Daily Responsibilities

70% Hands On (Campaign execution, list hygiene, A/B testing, deliverability tracking)

30% Team Collaboration & Vendor Management (Partnering with sales/leadership, coordinating with list vendors)

The Offer

Competitive Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000

Bonus eligible: Performance Bonuses
