Nature of Work
Altitude Sports is looking for a talented junior level promo editor/producer to join our Creative Services team. The Promo Editor/Producer I position will create compelling content to promote Altitude games and programming for broadcast and digital.

Examples of Work Performed

Produce, write, and edit topical spots to promote pro and college game broadcasts on Altitude Sports, including Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Mammoth, Denver Pioneers, and Air Force Falcons

Coordinate scheduling and delivery of promo content for broadcast

Create video content to support Creative Services requests from other KSE departments, sponsors, and affiliates

Generate creative concepts for promo content to meet promotional goals

Use digital library and media asset management system

Minimum Qualifications

High School or GED

Demonstrated proficiency as a video editor using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software – applicants must provide a reel or samples of previous editing work to be considered for the position

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree in media production or related field

1+ years professional video editing experience

Ability to acquire or produce and maintain a valid driver’s license and meet company vehicle driving standards

Competencies, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proficient skill with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software with strong knowledge of editing techniques. Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects a plus

Knowledge of pro sports and KSE teams

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Ability to work with both Mac and Windows OS environments

Ability to maintain positive attitude and demonstrate professionalism

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner

Self-starter with ability to work independently and in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and adapt to changing environments

Compensation

Base hourly range $21.63 per hour
