Job Title: Graphic Designer – Men’s Apparel

Location: New York, NY 10001

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

Duration: 3-Month Contract



Position Summar

The Graphic Designer will play a key role in creating innovative, trend-driven graphics for apparel across Client Brands’ lifestyle label Lucky Brand. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role develops compelling seasonal concepts that align with brand identity, support financial goals, and resonate with the target customer

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Execution

  • Lead the creative exploration and execution of graphic design concepts within assigned apparel categories, ensuring consistency with brand directions.
  • Design original, trend-right artwork aligned with seasonal direction and brand aesthetic
  • Develop unique typographic treatments, illustrations, and layout solutions for apparel applications.
  • Own graphic direction for assigned product categories while partnering with the Design team for cohesive seasonal storytelling.

Trend Research & Concept Development

  • Research and interpret design trends using social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram), market analysis, and historical data.
  • Prepare and present trend and inspiration boards to communicate seasonal design vision.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to meet creative and business objectives.
  • Utilize digital collaboration tools (e.g., Miro) to brainstorm, present, and refine concepts.

Production & Execution

  • Adapt and finalize approved artwork for production, ensuring alignment with the corporate calendar.
  • Maintain organized digital design libraries and reference materials.
  • Present design concepts and seasonal assortments to senior leadership,



Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of experience designing graphics for men’s apparel (knits, tees, fleece, polos, etc.).
  • Proven ability to develop innovative, brand-right graphic concepts and typography.
  • Strong sketching and illustration skills.
  • Deep understanding of lifestyle brand aesthetics and market positioning.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with tools like Miro is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail and passion for creative excellence
