Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Director of Development, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment,

the Associate Director of Community Relations Development supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of

Bellevue Hospital's fundraising, community engagement, and philanthropic communication efforts. This position supports

development initiatives while leading content creation and storytelling efforts that highlight Bellevue's impact.

Development

Opportunity to craft and execute a mission aligned fundraising strategic plan from the ground up.

Support the execution of Bellevue's development and fundraising strategies in alignment with institutional
goals and priorities.

Assist in identifying funding opportunities and engagement strategies in coordination with the Director of
Development and internal partners.

Support prospect research, donor cultivation, stewardship, and engagement activities across campaigns, partnerships, and
special initiatives.

Assist with fundraising events including preparation of materials and onsite coordination.
Support the development of sponsorship packages, event materials, and donor recognition collateral.
Other duties as assigned

Community Relations

Build and maintain relationships with community partners, Community Advisory Board members, and local
stakeholders to advance shared goals.

Capture, develop, and produce patient, provider, and program stories that demonstrate Bellevue's impact
and support fundraising and outreach efforts.

Attend and support community advisory board meetings, serving as a liaison and facilitating engagement
activities and events.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Science, Social Work, Public Health or a related discipline; and three (3) years of full-time progressively responsible experience in community relations, community organization, public health and/or social services in a public or private setting; or
2. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and/or experience, in which each year of relevant training and/or experience can be substituted for thirty (30) semester credits from an accredited college or university. However, all candidates must have minimum of a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization.
