Position Overview
We are looking for a Communication Advisor on behalf of our client. This is a 9‑month contract assignment (W‑2). The role will help develop communication strategies, create and distribute content for internal and external audiences, coordinate communications projects and campaigns, and provide daily support to senior communications staff.
Key Responsibilities
Help develop and implement communication plans, key messages and campaigns to support goals.
Draft and edit content for multiple channels, including print ads, event invitations or notices, presentations, and internal communications.
Support the coordination and logistics of events and meetings.
Help monitor media coverage and team member feedback, and prepare reports on communications effectiveness.
Provide administrative and project support to senior communications team members.
Help gather information to inform messaging and campaign development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, public relations or marketing role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Teams and familiarity with digital communications tools, including AI, Canva, and Adobe Acrobat.
2+ years of experience supporting communications in a corporate or agency setting.
Experience with AP Style.
Familiarity with renewable energy or utility industry communications helpful.
