Join #TeamAcenda and make a lasting impact.Job OverviewPrimarily responsible for providing ongoing, intensive, professional supervision to the direct service staff. Also responsible for functioning as the team leader, conducting team meetings, planning groups and providing daily support and crisis management.As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.Program InfoThe Healthy Families program provides in-home education and supportive services to new and expectant parents. Home visitors work to link parents to existing social service and health care resources, and promote positive parenting and healthy child growth and development. The program typically lasts from pregnancy through the child’s 3rd birthday. Services are currently available in English and Spanish.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide weekly supervision for each staff under their purview, with at least one and a half hours allotted for each session.The supervision should be directed not only toward assuring quality or service provision, but also toward protecting the integrity and respect of the families served.Supervision time should be directed to assist the staff in supporting the families in developing realistic service plans to enhance the families’ capacity to become empowered to meet their goals.Discuss why a family may not be making the expected progress and determine effective methods of intervention.Utilize reflective conversations with staff to promote self-care.Establish professional development goals with each staff member.The Supervisor also assists in the selection of staff, participates in the orientation and in-service training, conducts record reviews, assists in or maintains the data collection system, implements a quality assurance plan, directs and provides case management and monitors the performance of the Family Support Specialists.The Supervisor may also act as a liaison with other agencies and monitor contracts as well as the ongoing program development.The Supervisor will engage in continuous quality improvement activities.The Supervisor usually functions as the team leader, conducting team meetings and planning groups and provides daily support and crisis management.The Supervisor collaborates with the Program Manager, funder(s) and technical assistance provider on all levels of program implementation (i.e. staffing, service delivery, data outcomes, and program trends).Performs other related duties as assigned.Requirements:Master’s degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families; or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or less than a bachelor’s degree but with commensurate HFA experienceMust have prior professional experience in providing treatment services to familiesExperience in working with community agencies, including implementing referral processesAbility to relate to families from a strength-based model even in an apparently chaotic family environment; ability to approach families from a family-centered service model.Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordMust be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances.Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently.Preferred:Infant mental health endorsement preferredExperience with reflective practice preferredAdditional InformationBase rate: Starting salary of $52,000; salary commensurate with experience and/or bilingual skillsBilingual Rate: An additional $3,120 added to the base rate if Spanish proficient.Sign-on Bonus: $1000 to welcome you to our team!Day; evening and weekend availability occasionally requiredWhat we provide:An Innovative culture that encourages you to grow and learn with the agencyMission-driven coreHealth, Vision and Dental coverage for you and your family401(k) with 100% employer match on the first 5% of compGenerous time-offLife InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramYear-end bonusesAcenda Integrated Health is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.Department/ProgramHealthy Families (HF)
