See Yourself as a Regional Account Manager
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for managing assigned customer relationships, expanding the customer base, and driving profitable growth through disciplined execution of Radian’s sales strategy. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of customer operations, consistent and pro‑active engagement, and strong cross‑functional collaboration to maximize New Insurance Written (NIW) and overall economic value.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by: (1) Execute required sales call cadence, including in‑person (travel required), video, and phone engagement. (2) Demonstrate proper time and territory management, effectively manage travel, entertainment and internal and external company events including MBA meetings within prescribed budget (3) Identify and understand customers’ goals, initiatives, and strategic objectives (4) Ensure all levels in the customers organization are aware of all products and capabilities Radian has to offer (5) Communicate messaging consistently with strategic direction, including utilization of marketing materials and social media content. (6) Be able to listen to customers’ needs, evaluate their business model, and create value proposition using Radian. (7) Maintain high‑quality data integrity in Salesforce.com, including timely call reporting, opportunity updates, and quarterly certification of account accuracy.
Execute strategies that drive new MP signings and incremental NIW.
Execute pricing strategies that maximize economic value (EV) across the customer base.
Utilize AI tools and apply them within Radian’s governance framework to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
This field‑based, outside sales role requires travel within the assigned territory to support in‑person customer engagement, including regular face‑to‑face meetings at lender offices, industry events, and client functions. Travel is conducted by personal vehicle and/or air and may include frequent day trips and overnight stays, with success in the role dependent on effective territory management, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel 51–75% of the time.

Job Specifications
Basic Education and Prior Work‑Related Experience
Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Work Experience: 4 or more years of prior work related experience
Additional Qualifications
Highly experienced in mortgage lending. Significant experience working with complex customers in MI space
Strong sales background – consultative selling and relationship management
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to tactically build relationships within large organizations
Highly organized
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a timely and efficient manner
A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Benefits
Competitive Compensation: anticipated base salary from $74,000 to $106,000 based on skills and experience. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive plan.
